A solar panel on top soaks up daylight and charges the built-in Li-ion battery. A light sensor notices when it gets dark and turns on the two LEDs, so you don't have to.
A full day in good sun gives you around 8–10 hours of glow. Choose a spot that gets plenty of sun so it charges fully.

The mounting kit is in the box, so you can use it wherever it suits your yard:
- Just place it: sits on a wall, pillar cap, step or patio table, with nothing to fix down
- Ground plug: push it into the lawn, garden beds or sand

How to use
- Twist the body and base apart (body clockwise, base counterclockwise).
- Flick the slide switch inside the body to ON.
- Choose your setup:
- Flat surface: no fitting needed, so skip to step 4.
- Lawn or garden: fit the ground plug.
- Pot or railing: fit the pole.
- Twist the body back onto the base and set it in a sunny spot.
Tip: Give it a full day of sun before the first night. If it doesn't light up when you test it, put it somewhere dark, because the sensor only turns it on in low light.

Do I need wiring or a power point?
No. It's fully solar and charges itself during the day.
How bright is it?
It's a soft, gentle glow for atmosphere and accent lighting. It's not a floodlight or a security light. A few spaced along a wall or steps works best.
Do I need to screw it down?
No. It can simply sit on a wall, step or any flat surface. For lawns, garden beds, pots or railings, use the ground plug or pole from the kit.
How long does it stay on?
Up to 8–10 hours after a full day of sun. After a cloudy day it may run for less time.
Will it work in the shade?
It needs sun to charge. Place it where it gets good daylight, and expect a shorter, dimmer glow if it's mostly in shade.
Is it waterproof?
It's IP65 rated, so rain and splashes are fine. It isn't designed to be submerged.
